This past weekend concluded our 6th annual Prestige Owners Rendezvous. This year we decided to take a longer journey up to Sturgeon Bay, WI. 2020 has been different in many ways, but we were set on discovering a new location for our Prestige Rendezvous to safely enjoy the weekend.

Taking a our Prestige Rendezvous to Door County has always been on the bucket list of destinations. We had boats coming from Chicago, Michigan City , Holland, Racine, Kenosha, and Withrop Harbor. Of Door County’s more than 300 miles of shoreline, Sturgeon Bay has one-third of it between the Bay of Green Bay, the Bay of Sturgeon Bay, the ship canal, and Lake Michigan. Large ships, sprawling bridges and gorgeous lighthouses make up the city’s iconic landscape.

We took off Thursday for Sturgeon Bay from Chicago. There was a bit of choppy water that day of 5-6 footers that put the Seakeeper to the test in the 2020 Prestige 520 Fly. We gave the water some time to settle down by stopping for fuel in Sheboygan, WI which is a lovely town and the location of our first Prestige Owner's Rendezvous 6 years ago.

Thursday evening, we arrived at CenterPointe Marina to join the rest of our Prestige Owner's for dinner at a sushi & steakhouse, Crate. CenterPointe Marina's great staff helped us dock safely and has exceptional facilities including a clubhouse room we utilized each day for breakfast.

Upon arriving to Sturgeon Bay, we gave out gifts for each boat taking on the journey. Gifts this year included a 2020 survival pack with immunity boosters, hand sanitizers, face masks, vitamin c gummies, camp mugs, and our Prestige Quaranteam t-shirts.

CenterPointe Marina was a great spot for dockage in Sturgeon Bay as it is in walking distance to all of the quaint shops down 3rd Avenue and restaurants. Friday evening, we walked to Stone Harbor Resort for dinner and were lucky enough to enjoy outdoor music by local favorites the Moonlighters.

Saturday morning, a group of us started off the day with yoga in the park by Door County Yoga, followed by sea trials onboard the 2020 Prestige 520 Fly showing off some of the latest features on Prestige Yachts including Ship Control, new technology from Seakeeper, and interior design details that are unmatched.

Saturday afternoon, we then took off for Egg Harbor. It is about an hour ride through the channel and was the perfect location to anchor out with our group of Prestige Yachts.

Egg Harbor is the perfect destination to bring out all the water toys including lilly pads, floats, tubes, and sea bobs. We had a Prestige 560 in the harbor with a hardtop flybridge perfect those adventures seekers looking for a spot to jump off of.

Saturday evening we enjoyed a lovely dinner outside at Sonny's overlooking the water. We are so grateful for our Prestige Quaranteam. 2020 has presented many challenges for everyone thus proving more than ever the importance of spending time on the water with friends and family in the safe haven of your boat.

This wonderful trip would not have been possible without our Prestige family along with a big help from our sponsors including Prestige Yachts, Shore Premier Finance, Great Lakes Scuttlebutt, and Lakeland Boating. Stay tuned for details on next years Prestige Owner's Rendezvous; it is going to be a good one!
